Growing Balanced — daily visual schedules & balanced routines

This website and its services (collectively, "Growing Balanced") are operated by Growing Happy Littles LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using Growing Balanced, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Not medical, therapy, or diagnostic advice

Growing Balanced is a supportive informational tool for parents, caregivers, teachers, and therapists. It is not a medical device, therapy service, or diagnostic tool, and the content (including quiz results, sensory routines, schedules, and activities) is not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, occupational, or therapeutic advice.

If you have concerns about your child's development, behavior, or health, please consult a qualified healthcare provider, occupational therapist, or other licensed professional.

2. Parent-guided use; supervision

All activities suggested by Growing Balanced are designed for parent-guided or caregiver-guided use. They are not intended for independent use by children. You are responsible for selecting activities that are safe and appropriate for your specific child, supervising your child during all activities, and using your judgment to skip or modify anything that does not feel right.

3. Account responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be 18 or older to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

4. User agreement at sign-up

By creating an account, you confirm that you have read and understood the disclaimer presented during sign-up — that Growing Balanced is not medical advice and is intended as a supportive tool only.

5. Sharing & permissions

You may invite caregivers, teachers, or therapists to your child's profile and grant them Viewer, Logger, or Editor permissions. You are responsible for who you share with. Invitees must create their own account and accept the invitation before viewing your child's information.

6. Content & intellectual property

Growing Balanced, its features, design, and content are owned by Growing Happy Littles LLC. You retain ownership of the information you enter (such as your child's profile and tracking notes). You grant us a limited license to store and display that information solely to operate the service for you.

7. Beta status & service availability

Growing Balanced is in active development. Features may change, be added, or be removed. We provide the service "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Growing Happy Littles LLC and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of Growing Balanced.

9. Subscriptions, billing & cancellation

Growing Balanced is offered as a single paid subscription called the Growing Balanced Membership, billed through Stripe:

Monthly Membership — $9.99 / month (renews every month).
Annual Membership — $69.99 / year (renews every year).

Free trial. New members receive a 14-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial. You will not be charged during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically at the price of the plan you selected.

Auto-renewal. Memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing period using the payment method on file, until cancelled. We do not send an advance notice before each renewal.

Cancellation. You may cancel any time from Settings → Membership → Manage membership. When you cancel, your membership stays active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account becomes inactive. Your child profiles, schedules, meal plans, Development Journey answers, and saved resources are preserved and can be restored at any time by reactivating. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.

Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails (e.g., expired card), your membership enters a short grace period (typically three days) during which you retain full access and are asked to update your payment method. If the payment is not resolved, your account moves to an inactive membership. Your data — child profiles, schedules, supports, notes, animals, stars — is preserved. You can reactivate at any time to restore your membership.

Refunds. All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for the current or past billing periods. If you believe a charge was made in error or you experienced a service issue, contact us at info@growingbalanced.com within 14 days of the charge and we will review on a case-by-case basis.

Price changes. If we change subscription prices, the new price applies only to your next renewal. We will notify you at least 14 days before any price change takes effect. Existing subscribers on legacy pricing are grandfathered at their existing price unless we specifically communicate otherwise in advance.

Taxes. Subscription prices are shown excluding taxes. Sales tax / VAT (where applicable) is collected at checkout based on your billing address.

Payment data. We never see or store your full card number. Payment information is handled directly by Stripe under their privacy policy.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
